Commencing business in 1989 as "DIE CANOPY HOEK" this was one of the first canopy centre trading in second hand canopies. We soon realised that there was a quest for customised canopies. The premises where we traded in second hand canopies was, and still is, in Bon Accord on the Old Warmbaths road North of Pretoria. We bought a stand in Clubview in Centurion where we wanted to erect a factory to build and trade in new canopies. The premises were too far apart and we decided to buy a stand close to our second hand department. Fortunately plot 90 in Bon Accord was for sale and Mr Sampie Wannenburg the director bought the premises not more than one kilometre from our second hand stand. In 1996, we erected a factory of 2000 square meters and we built our first canopy. The result after months of research was a canopy with outstanding features and as years went past the CLUB CANOPY developed in a product that many had attempted without success. All our canopies are built with two layers with an additional strengthened layer between the two layers. All our canopies are fitted with a brake light at the back, a cab slider in front and tinted windows is a standard feature on all our double cab canopies. The interior has a impregnated finish on the inside and all our canopies are fitted with 4mm safety glass.

Optional features are interior light, speakers, aluminium roof rack (various types). In addition, we match the colour of the canopy to the colour of your vehicle. We can also provide you with steel canopies for any type of bakkie. CLUB CANOPIES has a spray booth where we do rubberizing of outstanding quality. We supply canopies to most of the dealers in and around Pretoria as well as dealers in far places like Louis Trichardt, Middelburg and to all provinces in South Africa. CLUB CANOPIES has, in relative short time, developed into a large company. Customer service by excellence is our motto! As the shape of all bakkies on our South African roads has developed in a more streamline and stylish shape we developed new canopies and upgraded our canopies to suit the customer.
